5 working days...

Thing is, a week isn't going to be enough to really relax and recharge and then its a bloody long time with no more breaks until Christmas. I'm also already worried that I'll put on a kg or so while on holiday due to just not being strict enough with food and drink. Bleh. Also weight is 200g higher than this time last week despite being 2200kcal in deficit over those 7 days. I know I'm not trying very hard to stick to -500kcal every day, but if I'm under on average for a week I do expect to go down a bit, or stay the same at least, not go up. *sigh*

Exercise - weights and a little cardio

B - Cheerios with semi-skimmed milk
S - Nakd bar (banana bread)
*gym*
S - chocolate milk
L - leftover roast chicken salad
S - banana and tangerines
D - chorizo, chicken, chick pea, sweet potato etc. stew and a wholemeal pitta bread

  2. Hey there!

The antibiotics were great. But then I started back on the protein shakes and started to feel bad all over again. Been off them for a week now and I think we have our culprit for inciting dodgy belly (reckon they were providing a particularly nice environment in my gut for nasty bacteria to feed on and thrive) as I've been fine since stopping having them. So, I shall stay off them for now, use milk drinks and protein-rich soups for recovery instead and see how we go. I always thought I had a cast-iron stomach... apparently not ;o)

Off to the Lakes with bikes strapped to the car, so I'm not getting away with a week off exercise as I hoped I might. Meh! *grin*

  4. Somewhere near the coast, just below Kendal I think. Never been to the Lakes before! I don't think we'll mind rain (but thanks for the good wishes!) there's a pub 3 doors down and there's an open fire in the cottage :oD Counting the days now...
